To prepare for intermittent internet outages, I've set my work buffer for 3 to 3.5 days. However, I've only got about 150 work units. Each one is estimated to take 3 minutes, sixteen seconds. They usually take a little longer, because GPU Grid uses 0.5 of my 3 CPUs, but there is still only a few hours worth of work in my queue.

I've tried using the Update function on this project, but to no avail.

Am I doing something wrong?

Same on my end. If my laptop could get a few hundred WUs than I could just keep it going almost non-stop.

The project has a 50 results per CPU limit that you can have in your work buffer. So Dayle the 150 results you have is all that the project allows.

Each time you return a finished result you will get a new one if work is available.
