The host that received the two crashed workunits on your computer after the crashes crunched them without problems.

You computer finished all other results from the same ligand series without problems.

So there is nothing symptomatic to recognize, that would help to trace and narrow down a potential problem.

Hard to tell why they crashed on your box, maybe CPU overheating caused by some fluff on the CPU cooler on a hot day?

Perhaps not related, but of all the units I received today and crunched (and awaiting upload) the computation errors were all 14pre-1 - all the 14pre-0s were successful. Perhaps they should be terminated otherwise to avoid merry-go-rounds

The 1 on the end means it is the second attempt for this task. All first attempt tasks end in 0, third attempt ends in 2, etc. The first attempt did not work for some reason - error, timeout, user aborted, etc. Probably errored in your case since it errored for you, too. You can see the previous attempt by looking at the work unit details found in the listing of all tasks for that computer or all tasks for all your computers.

When a whole series of results gets resent, they usually have an invalid atom definition in the ligand file. As this is one of the first checks, those run only for seconds so besides the downloads, not many ressources are wasted.
